"When a man, from beholding and contemplating the heavens, has been brought to acknowledge God, he will learn also to reflect upon and to admire his wisdom and power as displayed on the face of the earth, not only in general, but even in the minutest plants."
Psalm 19:1-6
"The heavens declares the glory of God;
the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech,
And night to night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words;
whose voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for the sun,
Which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber;
And, like a strongman, runs its course with joy.
Its rising is from the end of the heavens,
And its circuit to the end of them;
And there is nothing hidden from its heat."

ReplyDeleteYes! I love that Psalm. It goes nicely with Romans 1:20. We were just talking about this verse on Saturday. Soooo good. I love the "day to day pours out speech..." Well, when you consider that I guess no one is without excuse.
